COMMENTS
Carmel is the county seat where the County goverment and county court is located, but Carmel Town Court is located in the hamlet of Mahopac. The County Courthouse is quite beautiful, at least from the outside.<br>Address appears to have changed. Thanks to Mr. Funck for his comment. Sorry for our delayed response.
ABOUT THE AREA
Putnam County is named after the French & Indian War hero, Israel Putnam, who was also a Revolutionary War general. Putnam County is part of the NY-Metropolitan Area. The main highways through Putnam are US9, Taconic State Parkway, I-684 and I-84.

Hon. Robert Miller and Hon. James Rooney are Putnam County Court Judges, and are also acting Justices of Supreme Court for the County (and beyond?)
