Founded in the 1870s, this land is served by the State Highway 19 and State Highway 24 has a total area of 278 square miles of extension. Cooper, Enloe, Pecan Gap, Klondike, and Lake Creek are the cities and towns of Delta County in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area. Educational services, social services, manufacturing, health care, and retail trade are the industries providing most of the employment in this corner of Texas reporting more than 70% of private wages, 20% of government salaries, and the remaining percentage is completed by the wages generated by non incorporated and self employed workers.
