Elevated almost 400 feet above sea level, this community of close to 1 square mile of extension has an estimated population of 1950 inhabitants with a racial makeup of White Non Hispanic, Latino, African American, Native American, Asian, and other racial groups. Situated more than 120 miles away from Dallas, this municipality of German, American, Irish, English, and Czech ancestries is the proud birthplace of LaDainian Tomlinson, who was born in the late 1970s and plays for the San Diego Chargers as a running back.
