It gets very busy in the Kirkland Municipal court; the court provides court services for the cities of Clyde Hill, Medina, Hunts Point and Yarrow Point.

Stroll along Kirkland's waterfront parks and beaches for panoramic views of Lake Washington and the Olympic Mountains. Kirkland’s Juanita Bay Park wildlife preserve is habitat to shorebirds, nesting eagles, and nocturnal beavers. The park has been cited by the Audubon Society. Kirkland's has many public outdoor art sculptures by leading regional and nationally known artists. Look out for a pair of bronze grizzlies or giant hares on a street corner.
