Named after the Frio River, this community is served by Pearsall City as its county seat and it has a total extension of 1134 square miles. Served by the Interstate 35, US Highway 57, State Highway 85, and State Highway 173; this territory is located near Medina, Atascosa, La Salle, Dimmit, and Zavala Counties. White Non Hispanic, African American, Native American, Asian, Latino, and other races are part of the diversity present in this community of more than 4700 households and close to 3650 families residing on its extension.
