ABOUT THE AREA
After visiting the Wings of Eagles Discovery Center, join the Soaring Eagles at the Mark Twain State Park, also home to the Chemung Valley Living History Center, with re-enactments of the Revolutionary & Civil Wars, and the Native American Heritage Festival. Named in 1835 for the large number of horses' skulls left behind by the Sullivan Expedition. The town is right where the Expressway starts up again going west.
