ABOUT THE AREA
Named after Peter Wagener Grayson, this corner of Texas founded in the 1840s has a total land extension of 979 square miles and a population density of more than 125 people per square mile. Homeland of the Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge, this land with more than 30200 families residing on its territories has a racial makeup of White Non Hispanic, African American, Native American, Asian, Latino, and other racial groups. Some of the localities in this side of America are Sherman, Red Branch, Tioga, Gordonville, Denison, and Whitewright.
