You can reach here by ferry from the mainland; but don't hurry to make the ferry. Your next scenic spot might be Traffic court.

The area is one of the most popular vacation spots in Washington and indeed visitors from all states come here. In the surrounding waters visitors can spot Orca Whales, harbor seals, minke whales, porpoises and sea otters. Birds abound here. It's not unusual to see Bald eagles, great blue herons, trumpeter swans, hawks, peregrine falcons, ospreys, woodpeckers, hummingbirds, cormorants or sea gulls. While you are visiting be sure to see Westcott Bay Reserve with its 19 acre Sculpture Garden that allows visitors to enjoy the many works of talented Islanders.
