COMMENTS
The village was formerly located on the Erie Canal, which has been re-routed farther north. Today, the New York State Thruway passes just north of the village and Skaneateles Creek flows through it.
ABOUT THE AREA
Jordan is a small village of about 1,300 residents located in the northwest part of the Town of Elbridge at the junction of Routes 31 and 31C. The village is home to the Jordan Memorial Pool, open until dusk each summer night, the Jordan Fall Festival, a 3-day September event, and the Jordan-Elbridge School System.
