ABOUT THE AREA
The largest city in the state and seat of Milwaukee County. Located on Lake Michigan with the Menomenee River running through it. Interstates 43, 94, 894 and 794 serve the city and has 65 miles of bike paths. It was the center of the Socialist movement in the early 20th century. Prohibition era gangster Al Capone lived here. The science museum is named for James Lovell, astronaut, a resident of the city. Of the fifty largest cities in the US Milwaukee has the second coldest average temperature. It was known for its breweries and manufacturing and this continues along with many other features. The Milwaukee Brewers baseball team of course. And maybe Lenny and Squiggy?
