COMMENTS
Town court is in the Town Hall. One of the local judges assisted a local independent film company in making a fine feature. A key scene was shot in the courtroom, but the guy playing the prosecutor was a terrible actor.<br>Thanks to Judge OHare for correcting some details.
ABOUT THE AREA
Stuvesant is a picturesque, agricultural community nestled in the Hudson Valley. Stuyvesant Falls is a beautiful two-step natural waterfall along the Kinderhook Creek. The town has a fairly long stretch of Hudson River coastline, and Route 9J runs the length of the town. Route 9 catches the southeast corner of this town that lies in the northwest corner of the county.
