Served by the Port Arthur Independent School District, this territory is divided in five communities: Griffing Park, Lakeview, Pear Ridge, Port Acres, and Sabine. Home of the Golden Pass and Sabine Pass LNG terminals, this municipality struggles with significant air pollution generating several respiratory problems for the residents. Father of several notable men and women such as Tom Hicks, Evelyn Keyes, and Janis Joplin; this community shares frontiers with East Jefferson, Groves, Port Neches, Nederland, and Central Gardens.
