ABOUT THE AREA
The county seat of Jefferson County is part of the Beaumont–Port Arthur metro area with an estimated population of 114000 inhabitants. As a puzzle piece of the Golden Triangle, this territory keeps very active and prosperous industrial growth. Former home of the Gulf States Utilities, this municipality was named by Henry Millard who arrived to this portion of Texas back in the middle 1830s. With a total area of 86 square miles of extension, this land elevate 5 meters above sea level is refreshed by the Neches River and framed by the beauty of Pine Island Bayou.
