ABOUT THE AREA
Connected by the Interstate 35W, US Highway 67, State Highway 171, and State Highway 174; this land of 734 square miles of extension has a population density of 205 people per square mile. This dry county established in the 1850s is nested between Tarrant, Ellis, Bosque, Hood, Parker, Somervell, and Dallas Counties. With a racial makeup of White Non Hispanic, African American, Native American, Asian, Latino, and other racial groups; this territory is home of the Southwestern Adventist University.
