ABOUT THE AREA
Columbia Town Court is situated in or near Ilion, New York. There is a rich history here. Many of the people can report German heritage and have ancestors dating back to the 1700's. Establishment of the towns in the area ranges from the late 1700's to the early 1800's. Great rural area with lots of historical sites and markers to examine. Good to visit in the summer months when it is warm. Good hotels and motels in the area along with area shopping and restaurants. Southern edge of the county and not too far from Richfield Springs in Otsego County.
