Founded in the 1870s, this community is connected by US Highway 77, US Highway 290, and State Highway 21. Lee County is divided in two cities and four unincorporated communities for a total of 5660 households and approximately 4150 families residing in this corner of Texas. With a population density of 26 people per square mile, this land has a racial makeup of White Non Hispanic, African American, Native American, Asian, Latino, Pacific Islander, and other racial groups.
