ABOUT THE AREA
Named for Abner S. Lipscomb, this land of more than 930 square miles of extension serves Lipscomb as its county seat with an estimated population of 3100 inhabitants. Beaver, Ellis, Hemphill, Roberts, and Ochiltree Counties share borders with this community divided in six cities including Follett, Locust Grove, and Higgins. When coming to this land, do not miss the chance to check out Barton Corners, Wolf Creek Heritage Museum, Saint Johns Church, and Gene Howe Wildlife Area.
