ABOUT THE AREA
This precious community established back in the 1850s is located near the Llano River giving name to this kind land served by the State Highway 16, State Highway 29, and State Highway 71. Llano City is the county seat of this territory refreshed by the Colorado River reporting a population density of less than 20 people per square mile. Castell, Llano, Sunrise Beach Village, Tow, Buchanan Dam, Horseshoe Bay, and Kingsland cities are the puzzle pieces of this portion of Texas with a total extension of a bit more than 965 square miles.
