ABOUT THE AREA
Interesting part of the Mohawk River Valley. The river is a great attraction and many people come to the area to kayak and canoe. Also, rich Native American history and German history. German settled the area in the 1800's. Had several battles with the Native people here. Historical markers show different events of the area.
