Berne Town Court is not the busiest court. It gets some cases from Deputy Sheriffs, Encon (Dept
of Environmental Conservation) officers, and State Park Police. Court clerk is Patricia Boice
ABOUT THE AREA
In the Heldebergs, with great natural beauty and a couple of nice little lakes. Berne is in the rural hilly southwestern part of Albany County, and has a lot more in common with Schoharie County than with the major population centers of the Albany area.
JUDGES
Hon. Ken Bunzey has had local support for years, and Hon. Al Raymond has joined him in that.
PROSECUTORS
Albany District Attorney. Deputies, Encon officers and Park Police may prosecute their own tickets.
