ABOUT THE AREA
Aiken is a historic city and is a part of the central Savannah area. The CSA is shared by Georgia and South Carolina. Perhaps it is the most scenic stretch. Aiken was in news when President Roosevelt’s son in law and republican speaker fell ill and died here. From the tourism perspective the wetlands and arboretums are Aiken’s high point.
