If you are interested in trivia then it would be good to know that the PBS station is located here. They do have interesting things now and then for residents and visitors. The Salkehatchie River that borders the entire area offers a lot of entertainment like kayaking, river rafting, fishing and other water sports for people visiting here. The river water seems muddy and murky however it is pristine and safe environmentally.
