Father of Bay City (county seat), Palacios, Blessing, and other cities; this community shares borders with Brazoria, Calhoun, Jackson, and Wharton Counties. With a population density under 35 people per square mile, this territory has more than 1610 square miles of extension with a rich production of rice, oil rigs, and natural gas.
