Brighton, New York in Franklin County is located in the Adirondack Park near Paul Smith's college. The college is home to a wonderful foresty program and many environmental programs, and does a great deal for the Adirondack park. Many lakes, ponds , and streams are watched by the college and they help to maintain the area. Also, a wonderful Hotel / Hospitality management and culinary school.
