This court is located near the intersection of Interstae Highway 90 and State Road 281.

You don't have to figure out who this town was named after; good old George of Cherry tree fame. The city began with a successful bid by a Quincy Pharmacist to purchase the acreage from the Federal government's Bureau of Reclamation. The land was made available for purchase when there was local oppostion to a federally built town. The Pharmacist acquired the services of a city planning instructor at the University of Washington. The rest as some say is history. Although a nice place to live; George is a small city with a little over 500 people occupying a total area of 0.6 square miles.
