ABOUT THE AREA
Born in the 1870s, this land connected by the US Highway 69, State Highway 19, and State Highway 276 is served by Emory City as its county seat. Nested between Hopkins, Wood, Van Zandt, and Hunt Counties; this community of almost 260 miles of extension has a population density under 40 people per square mile. Father of East Tawakoni, this territory offers several notable locations to visit including Rockey Point Center, Prairie Grove Church, Sky Point Park, and Jenkins Park.
