ABOUT THE AREA
The Refugio County Memorial Hospital takes care of the well being of Refugio City residents along with the colaboration of other near medical centers located in Aransas Pass, Beeville, and Corpus Christi. Home of the Refugio County Museum, Refugio City Park, and Lions City Park; this lovely and charming municipality birthplace of Baseball Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan was also home of several artist and actors such as Gwendolyn Branstetter, Delores Cantu, and Jack Starrett.
