Great historical area where both the French and British built forts. You can still view the ruins as there is a historical site there. Also, a nice campsite allows visitors to take in the woods and learn how their ancestors once lived here. Crown Point is a hamlet on Lake Champlain and offers spectacular views of the Vermont mountains. Swimming and boating are permitted and there is a ferry that will take you to Burlington, Vermont where you can shop and take advantage of their fine dining. Good area to come in the summertime to do some camping and hiking. Come visit Crown Point and learn some of our nations history!
