ABOUT THE AREA
The Battle of Tarrar Springs was fought in Lexington in 1781 and today the area has been converted into a park. In fact the country’s very first court house was built in 1786 and it still stands tall. The Lexington Magistrate court is an important structure even today. However court house functions have been moved to a new location this building is one of the most guarded and treasured historic places of the United States of America.
