ABOUT THE AREA
This lovely county has a total area of more than 420 square miles of extension connected by Interstate 30, US Highway 67, US Highway 271, and State Highway 49. Founded in the 1840s, this community of more than 28000 inhabitants is nested in the arms of Red River, Morris, Camp, and Franklin Counties. With a population density of less than 70 people per square mile, this son of Texas is served by seven independent school districts including Chapel Hill, Winfield, Rivercrest, and Pewitt.
