ABOUT THE AREA
The "Antique Capital of East Texas" is the proud son of Gregg and Upshur Counties reporting an estimated population of 6000 inhabitants. Elvis and Johnny Cash fell in love with this corner of America nested between Warren City, Clarksville City, Union Grove, White Oak, Liberty City, East Mountain, Sabine, and Big Sandy. Reporting a total area of more than 12 square miles, this land situated right on the intersection of US Highway 80 and US Highway 271 was incorporated back in the 1930s.
