US Highway 20 runs North-South through the center of Lebanon and has an intersection with State Road 34 at the North end of town.

Lebanon is a moderately sized city with a total area of approximately 5 and 1/2 square miles and a population just under 16,000. Lebanon's most popular park is River Park covering over twenty acres in area. This park,located on the banks of the South Santiam river, has facilities for horseshoes, outdoor cooking as well open areas for playing volleyball and Frisbee. Lebanon State Airport, a local airport is owned by Oregon State Aero Division. It is a public facility and with a paved runway 2900 feet and a shorter runway under 400 feet in length, it is only suitable for small aircraft operations.
