ABOUT THE AREA
Named after the nearby Blind River, this multicolor town of more than 200 square miles of extension has an estimated population of almost 3800 inhabitants. Dedicated to fishing, tourism, and uranium refining industries; this traditional community established in the 18th century has a population density of less than 20 people per square mile. Served by Highway 17, this land is home to the Blind River Beavers, which concentrates the operation of Cameco Corporation.
