ABOUT THE AREA
Known as the "Heart of Muskoka", this natural community named after a Washington Irving book has an estimated population of 15600 inhabitants. Son of the Muskoka River, this traditional land incorporated in the 1870s has more than 230 square miles of extension. Reporting a population density of more than 60 people per square mile, this rural territory home of Santa's Village is served by the Bracebridge railway station.
