ABOUT THE AREA

Founded in 1820s, Burns is a town in the northeastern end of Allegany County. It includes the hamlets of Burns and Garwood, as well as the village of Canaseraga. Beautiful rural farmland, with Rt. 70 going down the middle of town. Town named after a Scottish poet.
