Named after Sir Collingwood Schreiber, this community of more than 900 inhabitants was founded in the 1880s. This township in Thunder Bay District is the proud neighbor of Killraine township formerly connected by many bridges. Incorporated in the 1900s, this community served by Madge Richardson as its mayor was originally called "Isberster's Landing".
