ABOUT THE AREA
This remote, beautiful, and small Oji-Cree First Nation has an estimated population of almost 600 inhabitants. Served by the Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service, this community offers its visitors and residents a wide variety of activities such as hunting, fishing, hiking, and boating. Rich wildlife and gorgeous forest are some of the elements making this corner of Ontario unique. Part of the Shibogama Tribal Council, this land is connected by air, land, and waterways.
