ABOUT THE AREA
The town of Freehold has numerous attractions. The Monmouth Battle was fought in the Monmouth Battlefield State Park and a lot of those memories have been preserved in this State Park in this township. The town of Freehold also has numerous parks - The Turkey Swamp Park, Whittier Oaks Park, Sandy Brook Park and Woodgate Park to name a few - which offer numerous opportunities for recreation and rest.
