Columbia City is the parish seat of this territory in Louisiana State framed by Oauchita, Richland, Franklin, Catahoula, La Salle, Winn, and Jackson Parishes. Founded in the 1830s, this land of more than 540 square miles of extension is connected by US Highway 165 and Louisiana Highway 4.
