ABOUT THE AREA
Long Branch is the midpoint of the eastern boundary of the state of NJ. It is bordered by Deal on the South, West Long Branch and Oceanport on the West, the borough of Monmouth Beach on the North and the Altantic Ocen on the East. Nature has blessed Long Branch with abundant scenic beauty, now wonder it was once called the "Hollywood" of the east. The Long Branch Ice Boat & Yacht Club and many such clubs provide facilites for sailing & boating in the ocean during summer months. It is about an hour's drive (55 miles or so) from NYC and is home to many daily-commuters to NYC.
