COMMENTS
Nice court in a small town on a country road. Court staff and prosecutors are quite friendly, at least to the lawyers.
ABOUT THE AREA
The Town of Amsterdam encircles the City of Amsterdam. The town stretches to the Schenectady County border to the east, and north to Fulton County. The town has a relatively vibrant economy, especially compared to the city.

PROSECUTORS
Montgomery County District Attorney's office handles most cases, but Troopers will negotiate their own tickets if you show up. Attorneys can handle most matters by mail with the DA. John Clo is the Assistant DA for Amsterdam Town Court. He's a good guy, and the whole office staff has that "salt of the earth" nature.

Speeding tickets, especially on Route 5 and Route 30. Other matters including DWI and some misdemeanors.
