ABOUT THE AREA
The Town of Colchester has the distinction of being one of only two towns in New York with two separate justice courts (The other Town is the Town of Tyre, Seneca County). If you are calling, corresponding, or visiting the court, make sure you check the address on the bottom of the ticket. These are rural courts that do not keep regular hours so be patient when trying to contact them.
