ABOUT THE AREA
The Community of Franklin is a very close knit one where the Chamber of Commerce sponsors many events. Their annual Old Franklin Days is a big hit featuring games, prizes, and food. They also have a hunting contest each year during deer season for the largest buck. The town has a good school system and several churches in the area. The town was formed after the American Revolution and has about 2,000 people that reside there. Town is not far from I-88.
