State Roads 99 and 238 as well as Interstate Highway 5 go through the city of Medford.

Medford is one of the largest cities in Oregon. Visitors can fly into Rogue Valley International Airport which is serviced by four major airlines with connections to Western cities. It has two runways. One of which is over 8000 feet in lenght and the shorter runway being in excess of 3100 feet. The city has large parks and five golf courses. The largest of these parks is Virginia Vogel park and Bear Creek park. With close to 100 acres Bear Creek park has room for little league fields, an off-leash dog area, a BMX track, an outdoor performing amphitheater, a huge skatepark, various barbecue areas, four tennis courts and more. It also has an access to a paved bike and pedestrian way which traverses north for about 6 miles into Central Point. Virginia Vogel park is a great place to relax with park benches, shade trees and water fountains that the kids can play in. It is adjacent to the Ginger Rogers Craterian Theater.
