ABOUT THE AREA
The borough of Rumson is on the NJ Shoreline. It's unique geographic location and it's scenic beauty make it a tourist's haven. Rumson is one of the wealthiest areas in the state of NJ and the school district is exceptionally good. There is a ferry service to NYC from Rumson. By road, the two places are separated by 50 miles. The town is dotted with numerous parks - Victory Park, Rogers Park, Piping Rock Park - to name a few. One needs to obtain a permit to use the fields at these parks. These parks have numerous facilities such as tennis courts, basketball courts, playground for kids, trails and benches to sit by the Navesink River and watch the sun delve into the ocean.
