ABOUT THE AREA
Founded in the 1870s, this territory connected by Interstate 20, US Highway 80, US Highway 167, and LA Highway 33 has a total area of more than 480 square miles of extension. Proud son of Bienville, Jackson, Union, and Claiborne Parishes; this community part of the Ruston micro area shares borders with Union, Ouachita, Claiborne, Bienville, and Jackson Parishes. Home of Lincoln Parish Park, this land is divided in seven cities and towns: Choudrant, Dubach, Ruston, Vienna, Downsville, Simsboro, and Grambling.
