ABOUT THE AREA
The borough of Union Beach is the northernmost tip of the state of NJ and is less than a mile away from the NJ-NY border. It takes about a half hour to drive from Union Beach to New York City, which makes it a very lucrative housing option for people working in NYC. In spite of it's proximity to NYC and to the NJ Shoreline, the boro hasn't lost it's residential character. This homey place is accustomed to more vehicular traffic during summer months because of the tourists who pour into the town from all parts of the world.
