Be sure to get to Millsite Park on Thursday evenings in July and August where the Bandshell is the site of the free Myrtle Creek Music in the Park Summer Concert. Late in July of each year the Myrtle Creek Lions Club holds its Myrtle Creeks Summer Festival Show and Shine. Participants just have to shine their vehicles and show them off for the congratulatory dash plaques awarded. The day starts with a festival parade. You might want to watch the annual Timber Truckers Light Parade in Decmber which ends at the site of the Myrtle Creek Winter Festival in Millsite Park.
