The borough of Bloomingdale is a suburb of New York City and is at a distance of 30 miles from NYC by road. It would take one 40 or 50 minutes to reach NYC from Bloomingdale. The residents of Bloomingdale are affluent - the average household income in this borough is reported to be $80K. Municipal facilities are excellent and the staff is friendly. The town also has an Affordable Housing Board under it's umbrella. This Board offers advice to prospective home-buyers. Another very active group in this town is the Senior Citizens Advisory Committee. This group of dedicated youngsters offer love and care to senior citizens. The Committee organizes road trips to nearby places, and organizes activities such as Adult Badminton, Aerobics and even an Arthritis Exercise Session.
