The Condon Justice Court is the Condon branch of the Gilliam County Justice Court. Highways OR 19 and OR 206 cut through the town.

Condon is a small agricultural town of under 700 people; but nevertheless is the county seat. Its annual Fall festival in late November features a Crafter's and Vendor's market. As part of the festival the Condon Fire department serves a barbeque lunch in the Fire hall. What would any self respecting city be without a golf course and it does have one at its Northwest corner. Condon Golf Course is an open, flat public 9 hole course. To remind one and all of the agricultural character of the area, there is a huge grain silo which stands adjacent to the putting green.
